Newest Bachelorette announced!

After the season finale of the Bachelor, Ashley Hebert was announced as the next women to star as the Bachelorette.

Ashely Hebert (ABC)

She is a 26 year old, fourth year dental student at the University of Pennsylvania, but put off her studies to try to win the heart of Austin Bachelor Brad Womack, this past season. As the third place runner up, and a part of one of the most heartbreaking break-ups the Bachelor has seen so far, Ashley has confirmed she is ready to get back out there and find true love.

"I feel like this season taught me so much about myself," she told PEOPLE after the announcement. "It primed me for a new relationship. I'm ready to meet 25 new guys. Bring 'em on!"

Hopefully this time around she will learn from the mistakes that brought down her epic relationship with Brad.

"I never thought I'd fall in love so quickly for somebody. This is all new to me. I can see myself with him." Ashley told ABC.

Maybe she will learn from the instant sparks she had with Brad and realize that questioning them only leads to more doubt from both sides. Hopefully in her season she will put forth an effort to let the magic of love just happen rather than always question it.

As the most levelheaded contestant on her season, despite some minor insecure moments, Ashley appears to be a prime candidate for the coveted role as the Bachelorette.

According to The Hollywood Reporter her season is already in production and will air May 23rd on ABC at its usual time on Mondays. Im already counting down the days!

Moving to Austin

It seems that Emily has finally come around and made giant leap forward in her and Brad’s relationship.  Announced March 30th, Emily will be moving to the vibrant city of Austin, Texas!

Despite her previous reservations about moving her 5-year-old daughter Ricki from their hometown in North Carolina, Emily has made the decision to really commit herself to Brad. Which is definitely good news for our beloved Austin Bachelor!

I think this decision had a lot to do with the fact that Brad had really laid his foot down about not moving to North Carolina, "I know love is a compromise, but that's the only thing that I was very adamant about," he tells Life & Style. "I have some very strong roots there. I don't want to relocate. I have a career in Austin."

An article in the Huffington Post Entertainment an insider says, "She feels like the best thing to do is to give this a real shot and put her heart into it by moving to Austin. . .”

Emily will be moving to Austin this summer and to explore her relationship with Brad, however she intends to purchase a condo and not move in with him just yet.

I think Emily has finally chosen the right path, especially by leaving all of her ex’s and drama behind in North Carolina, to get a fresh start in Austin.

Yesterday she tweeted,  "Had the best weekend with my two favorite people. Sad but counting down the days until I get to see him again.” Could this mean that there really will be the wedding we have hoped for all season?

But there still remains an issue with the latest rumor about the pair.  Emily is now expecting?  Is this why she dediced to take the plunge and move all the way to Austin?  Only time will tell if this is fact or fiction.

After the final rose

The long awaited announcement finally came! Bachelor Brad Womack FINALLY put a ring on someone’s finger and that lucky girl was the lovely Emily Maynard, my top choice from the very beginning!

(USMagazine.com)

In a beautiful white gown by Tadashi Shoji Emily was proposed to by Brad with a STUNNING Neil Lane engagement ring in the very scenic South Africa. Brad was so grateful to finally be able to say those three little words to Emily and said he knew she was the one early on in the season.

It all seemed to be all sunshine and rainbows during the final episode but the “After the Final Rose” special revealed that this perfect Bachelor couple isn’t going to come close to wedded bliss any time soon, possibly even the opposite thanks to the airing of season and dramatic antics of the tabloids.

Emily admitted dreading watching the Monday episodes of Brad and the other bachelorettes. So following the episode she would get frequent messages throughout the show from Brad saying he is madly in love with her and an extravagant bouquet of flowers would arrive on her door step every Tuesday morning.

But this wasn’t the only bump in the relationship, the tabloids made sure to cause some drama for this couple. Speculation of doubt and betrayal led to several serious breakups between the pair and could eventually lead to their downfall.

In an article in US Magazine.com and in the “After the Final Rose” special Brad addresses the media about his relationship with Emily and their wishes.

(USMagazine.com)

"At long last, Emily and I can be open to the world and each other about our relationship.  Though we are madly in love, it has been a bumpy couple of months for us and our priority right now is to focus on our relationship.  We hope that you can respect our privacy as we return to normalcy and begin our off-screen lives together."

Although my prediction came true that Brad and Emily would end up together in the end I’m starting to have some doubts that this couple will really last.

The sarcastic spider

Brad explained the latest episode best in his latest blog post in PEOPLE when he said
“ . . . yes, it was 'the most dramatic Women Tell All episode in Bachelor history.' Confirmed. Verified. Validated. One hundred percent true. My God, the women didn't hold back!”

Season 15 Bachelorettes - Women Tell All
(daylife.com)

This edition of the Women Tell All was definitely one to remember. In the usual manner Chris Harrison prompted the most dramatic moments of the season, including the infamous feud between Melissa and Raichel, the early heartbreak of Ashley S. and the regret of Ashley H., the most recent bachelorette to be sent home. But the drama with Michelle stole the show!

First of all it didn’t even take prompting from Chris Harrison to start the catfight! As soon as the floor opened up for discussion the topic of Michelle was all the girls could talk about!

Calling her “two-faced” because she was a best friend to most of the girls in the house but then her private on camera commentary felt like a full on backstabbing session to most of the girls! Michelle defended herself saying that she didn’t mean the things she said the way they sounded. She just has a “sarcastic” sense of humor.

When it was finally time to talk about Michelle later in the show the name-calling and Michelle-bashing continued right where it left off.

Jackie even compared Michelle to a spider saying that she was “creepy” and that “everyone was afraid” of her!

Even after much refereeing of Chris Harrison the girls hardly backed down.

Michelle broke down in tears saying that she was really on the show for all the right reasons and felt extremely guilty for leaving her daughter back home.  But the girls had NO sympathy for the sobbing Michelle and Stacey even went as far to attack Michelle on her parenting skills!

Not only Chris tried to come to Michelle’s rescue but Ashley H. and Madison, the weird vampire teeth girl (definitely a story for another time), defended her intentions against the harsh attacks.

But Brad truly had the final word when he said that he and Michelle had a great relationship and he found her commentary to be funny rather than bitchy.

The most interesting comment of the night had to be Michelle saying, “Brad needed a girl like Emily.” Is this a hint about the finale episode?? I hope so, but we’ll see!

Serious questions lead to a serious heartbreak

This season Brad Womack, co-owner of Austin, Texas hot spots: The Chuggin' Monkey; Molotov Lounge; The Dogwood and the Dizzy Rooster, has gone out of his way to make sure he doesn’t end up alone as he did in Season 11.

After rejecting both of the final women in his first season Brad has come back this season ready to open his heart to the chance of finding true love.

"At first I was skeptical," Bachelor host Chris Harrison tells PEOPLE. "But the more I thought about it, the more I fell in love with the idea of him coming back, getting another shot."

Finally narrowing 30 bachelorettes down to three Brad and the women have ventured off to another exotic location, this time to South Africa.

The final women are southern mom Emily Maynard, voluptuous rich girl Chantal O’Brien and finally the driven dentist Ashley Hebert.

While in South Africa Brad and the ladies went on adventurous individual dates ending with the choice to spend the night alone in the “fantasy suite”.  All accepted the option to stay the night with Brad but with some bumps along the way.

Emily made a classy choice by being cautious of what kind of example she would set for her young daughter back at home. She said she would stay on the condition that the time would be used to only talk and continue to move the relationship at a slow pace.

But the real twist, but kind of expected, was the not so wonderful date between Brad and Ashley. Everything completely fell apart. The pair spent the entire date, as they have for the past few episodes, reassuring each other and failing to answer very important questions about the future.

I think that when Brad went to Ashley's hometown to meet her family in the last episode he really began to realize he had a lot of questions and did not feel like he was prepared to move on with the relationships while still having them unanswered.

Fans could tell  the in beginning sparks were flying from the very first date at the carnival but now it seems that the sparks have finally fizzled out. Jealousy, insecurity and second guessing was the true downfall to this almost epic relationship.

Even though they scrambled to try to mend the relationship it was just too late and a decision had to be made. In the end Brad did let Ashley go because he was still too overloaded with unanswered questions about their future and if a future would even be possible.

But he did say in a self-written article in PEOPLE that “Everyone knows what a connection Ashley and I had that started from day one . . . I didn't think I had made a mistake. I was just riddled with questions in my mind. What happened along the way to our relationship?”

Next Brad is bringing his family to meet the Final Two ladies, Emily and Chantal.  But who will get the “Final Rose”? And which Bachelorette will soon be calling Austin, Texas home?
